This course is primarily created for current or aspiring occupational therapists and other health professionals in an early intervention or pediatric setting. Content may also be beneficial for caregivers and families who are curious about infant massage and/or care for babies who were born premature. Participants of this course will learn about infant massage, its numerous benefits, and its applications to occupational therapy within a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) setting. The course also emphasizes the important role of caregivers and the impact that massage can have on the caregiver-infant bonding experience.
There are no prerequisites required to participate in this course. This Udemy course contains lectures based on extensive research and evidence-based practice.
