Students will be able to follow the steps to make their own independent feature film. I have made two feature films using this process and currently working on my third feature film.

  • You will need a book for the class but it is provided as a PDF downloadable resource in the form of an Ebook.

This is a beginning course for the aspiring film-maker who wants to make a feature length film, but hasn't yet been through the process of making a movie. You don't have to have lots of money to make a movie. All you need is the desire, patience, motivation, and knowledge of the process. I have used the process outlined in this ebook and I have made two feature films that are currently in distribution. If it worked for me it can work for you too if you apply the techniques that I discuss. This course contains a 47 page ebook and an several instructional videos. The meat of this course is contained in the ebook but also in the 49 minute video that goes over some of the step instructions.

My name is David and I live in a small town in East Texas. I began writing screenplays my freshman year in college. I spent many years learning the craft of screenwriting while getting rejected over and over.  It was also in college that I started trying out for roles in film. After working on many movie sets and writing many screenplays, I decided that I was going to start making my own films. I teach two courses at Udemy. One is in screenwriting and the other is in independent film-making. I have had success in both areas and would like to give you some practical knowledge on how you could do the same. I have had a screenplay nominated at the International Christian Film Festival and both of my movies have won awards.  If screenwriting and making movies are your passion, or you want to learn how to either, check out my affordable, short, and practical courses.

**UPDATE My latest screenplay just won at CFFF (Christian Family Film Festival) in New York City July 2018.
