A word about what oils you can use and when you should and shouldn't use oils on the person's hair

Please understand that as we get started I have to go from the basics because there will be people that have zero or very little massage experience
So lets now take a look at the few things that you are going to need and the workarounds if necessary
Lets take a quick look at what to be doing with your posture and stances. You don't want to be doing lots of massages using poor form or techniques otherwise you will be needing a massage more than your client does.
Here is an introduction to using a particular technique for the moment where we use a circling technique on all that you do. This is great fun, feels fantastic and makes it super easy to remember as we get started.
Here I show you how simple it is to produce amazing effects with using different parts of your hands. It creates different sensations for your clients and also keeps it fun and interesting for you as a therapist
Start with a base of basic Indian head massage techniques done well, because simple moves, when performed properly, feel amazing and form the foundation for later progression.
I am all about being different from other therapists whenever you can to make your treatments more special. This is a great addition, and as you know, first impressions are everything!
Do not skip this step as becoming centered is important for both you and the clients.
This is your base model that we will build on as we progress. Just work with these simple techniques. This not only feels great to do but also to receive.
No we will work on the opposite side
Before I move on, I want to make a couple of things clear for you
Ok, now we start using the forearms and work more deeply to work the knots between the shoulder blades and also the tops of the shoulders.
And now we do some stimulating percussions
Ok, now that you have learned your base level shoulder and upper back routine, lets go through it from the start to finish to make sure that you have go it before we move to the neck
This is what I recommend that you do to give an amazing neck massage
It's time to do the neck massage to have your client completely relaxed and in seventh heaven
Here is a look at doing the massage on the opposite side
Here is how to massage the neck without oils or creams so that you don't pull the skin
Here we go! It time to do the head finally
Ok, here I show you the techniques and workarounds for doing the ears and face
Here is the complete sequence for you to practice to
Here we will use the same sequence but use a different technique and tempo to make this a completely different massage experience for your clients
Here you can simply change from circles to zig zags and give a completely different massage experience for your clients
Before we start the traditional barber style massage I want to go through a couple of things first
Here is a more traditional Indian head massage style using coconut oil that you would see in a barber shop in India.
Now we will take a look at helping people with specific problems such as neck pain or upper back pain and stiffness
This is a great technique to free up those tight and shortened neck muscles at the base of the skull which can contribute to so many headaches
These points are incredibly powerful for helping with back and neck pain
These two points I would use extensively in acupuncture for upper back pain, knots and upper back tightness
Here you can take it to another level by giving your clients treatments that they can do after your massage. They will love you for the extra help and advice that you give them
STRESS? This is my go-to point for helping people with excessive stress, worry and nervousness. This is another point that you can teach them and also use in your massage for clients that have lots of stress and tension
This is the number 1 Acupuncture point in the ear that has been studied extensively for its calming benefits. It is also used to treat addictions because of its calming properties. You can massage them, use acupressure and also teach the points to your clients to use whenever they are stressed.
These points are fantastic and you can include them in your massage if you like
Percussion techniques are used extensively and here are some variations for you to try
This is a very common technique that is used in Indian head massage but I personally am not a fan
Here is another technique that you can have fun experimenting with
Well done!
