Smita Desai, PhD (Applied Psychology) has over 3 decades of work experience in areas of child mental health and special needs education. This includes designing and implementing diagnostic and therapy interventions, research, courses and workshops for therapists & school personnel, education leadership training, membership of various college board of studies, member healthcare consortium at IIT Mumbai and executive member of the Bombay Psychological Association. Smita is founder-director at Drishti, an organisation serving mental health and academic needs of children across several Indian cities.
