In the last module we covered the question, how do you get speaking gigs…but the second most asked question is: How much should I charge? That’s actually the wrong question. The question is all about you. As you are negotiating, know and understand your worth, but keep the discussion all about them!

Here is a basic guide:

New Speaker: $500 - $1500

Intermediate Speaker: $1500 - $5000

Seasoned Speaker: $5000 and above

But don’t talk fee right out of the gate, talk budget! Any event planner, HR Department, Learning & Development department that wants to hire you…has a budget.
