To test the things that we can do with Illustrator's 3D tools, we’re going to extrude objects, just as an exercise.

Going on with the 3D instructions, let’s try to make measuring tape.

Now, I want to put textures to each one of these layers. For that, I’ll help from geometrical figures.

Continuing with the Extrude and 3D, let’s try to develop a gift box. For that, we have 2 rectangles,and 3 lines that are going to be the ribbons.

Let’s use another feature named Revolve instead of Extrude. For that, I’ve brought some vectors, available for you, some half objects that are based on radial figures.

We can use  Revolve with many object to create complex 3D illustrations. Here we have 4 examples.

Using many flat vectors we will develop a Sandglass with Revolve in illustrator.

Based on an image of a feather we are going to get a 3D look.

We are going to start making illustrations, and we’ll try to make a pop art illustration, with one of the most pop figure, which is Marilyn Monroe.

This video is about to give some volume for all the lines.

In this occasion, after all the lines are done in the illustration, we’re going to work in the colors layer.

To get a more pop effect in this illustration, we need to give this fill color a sensation of halftones or little circles.

In this class we’re going to work with the Perspective tools, which are:
The Perspective Grid Tool and Perspective Selection Tool.

If we have an illustration that we want to make in perspective, which we done using pencils or something like that, and we use it as reference

Apart of creating boxes or basic geometrical shapes using the perspective, also we can do figures that are made on a flat paper, because, it’s easier to do it on paper, and later bring it to a perspective environment.
