MSC Method Practitioner Certification is awarded separately from course completion and reflects a higher level of applied experience, professional development, and responsibility.
To progress toward Practitioner Certification, learners are asked to demonstrate:
• completion of MSC Method® Foundation Training
• completion of any required post-course assessments
• a recommended minimum of 450 hours of logged applied or clinical practice, built progressively at trainee or insured practitioner level. For novice students, this would mean supervised hours, signed off by a practitioner.
• ongoing adherence to ethical standards, scope of practice guidance, and safeguarding principles outlined in this handbook
Evidence of applied practice may include anonymised practice logs, reflective summaries, and confirmation of supervision or insured practice where appropriate. No client-identifiable information should be submitted, in line with GDPR and data protection requirements.
For established practitioners who already hold professional insurance and experience, confirmation of completion may be accepted in place of detailed logs. Any additional evidence requested will always be proportionate and appropriate to the practitioner’s experience level.
To receive your digital certificate of completion, learners are asked to email the course provider: neil@mysoulcoach.co.uk to confirm that all required training elements and assessments have been completed, providing required evidence detailed above.
Explore hypnosis and hypnotherapy through clear, structured training shaped by real-world practice. This course draws on Neil Sunley’s background as a long-standing hypnotherapist, CBT practitioner, and performance psychology coach, with decades of experience helping people understand how the mind responds under pressure and how change can be guided professionally.
Designed for both new learners building a solid foundation and established practitioners completing CPD, this training focuses on clarity, ethics, and practical understanding. No mysticism. No unnecessary complication. Just a grounded, credible pathway into hypnotherapy and the MSC Method® framework.
This course is designed for two types of learners:
Those new to hypnotherapy who want a clear, ethical foundation
Established hypnotherapists, therapists, or coaches completing CPD and strengthening their theoretical understanding

Upon completion, you will receive a certificate of completion confirming foundational online training.
Benefits of This Course

• Gives you a clearer understanding of professional standards, ethics, and client responsibility
• Helps you develop confidence in the language, structure, and principles behind effective hypnotherapy
• Suitable as a stand-alone introduction or as part of wider professional development
• Provides the first step into the MSC Method® training pathway for those who wish to progress further
Pathway for New Practitioners
If you are new to hypnotherapy, this course is Stage 1 only.
It provides the knowledge base and theoretical grounding needed before moving into more applied practical development. Learners who wish to progress toward MSC Method® Practitioner level will need to complete additional live training, practical assessment, and any further requirements set at that stage.
Pathway for Established Practitioners (CPD)
If you are already practising, this course may be used as part of your Continuing Professional Development.
It is particularly suitable for practitioners who want to refresh key principles, strengthen their foundations, or familiarise themselves with the MSC Method® approach. Completion of this course alone does not automatically grant practitioner status, insurance eligibility, or professional registration.
Important Professional Context
This course provides foundational online training only. It does not by itself qualify a learner for independent practice, insurance cover, or membership of any professional body.
Anyone intending to practise professionally should check the requirements of their insurer, register, or professional association. Progression within the MSC Method® pathway requires additional applied training and assessment beyond this course.
