Description

This course provides a comprehensive overview of human resources employment and benefits laws and the thresholds for organizational compliance for certification and continuing education purposes.  It will cover the fundamental court cases that impacted these laws and the legal landscape of the modern workplace.  Students will learn about key employment laws, including those related to discrimination, harassment, wage and hour regulations, and worker's rights.  The course also covers best practices for threshold compliance and understanding referenced court cases.
