Maslow's Theory and ERG Theory are considered to be two most important theories of motivation which has been elucidated comprehensively in my lecture. Maslow theory propounder Abraham Maslow gave a wonderful account of his theory in a graphical manner commencing from basic needs to self actualization needs and the same has been put forth in a lucid manner by my lectures. the same with ERG theory which has been wonderfully described in my words.
Hertzberg and Mcgregor are considered to be the two most important motivational theories that are instrumental in carving a niche when it comes to employee motivation and productivity enhancement. Both Herzberg and Mcgregor theory stresses on two factors which are either negative or positive factor in case of case Theory X and Theory Y or Mcgregor Theory and satisfaction or Dissatisfaction in case of Hertzberg two factors theory.
