Description

Intelligence has historically been conceptualized as a more or less fixed trait. Where as a minority of investigators believe either that it is highly heritable or that it is minimally heritable, most take an intermediate position. Among the most fruitful methods that have been used to assess the heritability of intelligence is the study of identical twins who were separated at early age and reared apart. We must understand that the human intelligence is the capability of humans, which is marked by complex feats and high levels of motivation and self -awareness. High intelligence is associated with better outcomes in life. It is better for us to understand that human intelligence is commonly assessed by intelligence quotient scores that are determined by the IQ score, However, while IQ scores show a high degree of inter-test reliability, and predict certain forms of achievement rather effectively, their construct validity as a holistic measure of human intelligence is considered dubious.

Intelligence appears to be at least partly dependent on brain structure and the genes shaping brain development, it has been proposed that genetic engineering could be used to enhance the intelligence, a process sometimes called biological uplift. We must understand that our individual IQ leads to greater success in education, independently education raises IQ score. Even a meta analysis suggests that education increases IQ by 1-5 points per year of education, or at least increases IQ test taking ability. There are so many ways to measure intelligence quotients such as psychometric testing etc. Our environment also have a very big role to play in our intelligence and intellectual development. Better intelligence is based on effective information, so getting the right information is good for accurate intelligence.
