Hi there, I am Dr Kriti.  I have done my graduation in the field of dentistry and post graduation in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery. I love teaching and would like to make learning easy and interesting for the students.  I have five years experience of teaching undergraduate students as an assistant professor in the field of oral surgery. I am also practising dentistry and minor oral surgery in my own clinic.

In this course I have explained the arterial anatomy of head and neck region. I have used colourful anatomical illustrations exhaustively to  make you understand and remember. Many animations have been used in the illustrations  to make the learning a fun. I have also covered the clinical significance of the arteries, an aspect very important for clinicians and surgeons.

I hope you will enjoy the course and gain knowledge significantly about the arteries of the head and neck.

    Happy Learning!!

    Thank you

    Dr Kriti

Description

The course on "Arterial Supply for Head and Neck Region" provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the intricate network of arteries that supply blood to the head and neck. This is essential knowledge for medical professionals working in fields such as neurosurgery, otolaryngology, and psychiatry, as a thorough understanding of the arterial supply in this region is crucial for diagnosing and treating various medical conditions.

Throughout this course, students will learn about the major arteries that contribute to the blood supply of the head and neck, including the common carotid artery, external carotid artery, and vertebral arteries. They will also explore the various branches and distribution of these arteries, as well as their relationship to key structures in the head and neck such as the brain, eyes, nose, and throat.

In addition to theoretical knowledge, students will also have the opportunity to participate in hands-on practical sessions, where they will have the chance to dissect and study anatomical specimens firsthand. This will provide them with a deeper understanding of the complex anatomy of the arterial supply in the head and neck region.

By the end of the course, students will be equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to confidently identify and interpret arterial anatomy in the head and neck. This course is designed to enhance the expertise of medical professionals and provide them with a solid foundation for further specialization in their respective fields.
