Ed Bell is a songwriter, author and entrepreneur, and one of the Internet's favorite songwriting educators.
Ed created The Song Foundry, a leading songwriters resource site, in 2014 where his articles on songwriting are now read by over 30,000 songwriters each month.
He's the author of seven popular songwriting books including the bestselling The Art of Songwriting and How to Write a Song (Even If You've Never Written One Before and You Think You Suck).
Ed's creative work is mostly in theatre and film where he co-wrote the Kleban Award-winning musical My 80-Year-Old Boyfriend and has written songs for Pearl Studio (Abominable, Over the Moon) in Shanghai, China.
Ed is a graduate of Cambridge University and The Royal College of Music and an alumnus of the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop in New York City.
