Description
If you're not submitting a cover letter with every job application, you're missing out on a huge opportunity to market yourself to a potential employer. You should include a cover letter with every job application you submit. A cover letter, if well-written, will make you memorable in the mind of a hiring manager and will potentially increase your chances of landing an interview!
But, what if you're already submitting a cover letter and all you hear are crickets? It happens. Chances are, your cover letter lacks the extra "something" it needs to distinguish you from the other candidates (and dazzle your hiring manager!).
Wouldn't it be nice to get noticed? Wouldn't it be nice to hear a "yes" instead of a "no"? Goodness, wouldn't it be nice to get that new job you're hoping for! Of course it would! So let's make it happen by creating a compelling cover letter that will have hiring managers begging you for an interview.
Your time is now.

Instructor
Hi there! My name is Wendy and I'm so glad to meet you. Here's a little bit about me.
I grew up in Southern California, but now live in gorgeous Pennsylvania with my smokin' hot husband and quirky cats Roo and Jack.
I've built my career in corporate education and development, spending much of my time as a facilitator and instructional designer. I was fortunate enough to work for an Association for Talent Development BEST learning institution. During my tenure I developed, designed, and delivered a leadership development program that won an American Business Stevie award.
I've spent another part of my career pursuing my passion as a career coach--helping people find jobs and careers that fit their values. In 2019 I wrote my first book, which has helped many people find their career passion.
I enjoy working with people and seek out opportunities that involve a high volume of socialization. I've been a teacher, trainer, project coordinator, stage manager, and even a tour guide at the Disneyland Resort.
I'm a creative soul; visual, imaginative, a dreamer and doer. I choose to be happy. I learn best through stories. I'm always crafting, looking for the next project, and an avid DIY-er.
The three words people use to describe me are motivated, ambitious, and passionate. If I could add to the list, I would say that I'm poised, polished, and professional. But don't get me wrong--I'm easy-going, approachable and like to have fun too.
My favorite color is blue. I rock out to Michael Jackson, and my favorite food is the almighty taco.
I hope you enjoy my courses!
