    The Sales Navigator Referral program enables Sales Navigator users to refer colleagues or friends that might benefit from Sales Navigator. With this program, you're able to share a discount for Sales Navigator Core with your friends or colleagues.

    Where do I find the Referral hub?

    The Referral program hub can be found on the top right corner of any Sales Navigator page. Click Referrals to access the hub.

    Who can I refer?

    You can refer any 10 of your first degree connections, as long as they:

    • Don't already subscribe to Sales Navigator

    • Haven't used a LinkedIn.com free trial (any product) in the past 12 months

    • Do not have another active LinkedIn Premium subscription (Premium Career, Premium Business or Recruiter Lite)

    How many people can I refer?

    You can refer up to 10 first degree connections per year.

    How do I refer someone?

    To refer someone:

    1. Sign in to Sales Navigator.

    2. Click Referrals in the top right corner. You'll be redirected to the Referral hub.

    3. On the hub, search for the 1st degree connection you'd like to refer.

    4. From the list, select the person you'd like to refer, and click Send.

    A referral message will be created for LinkedIn.com, with your referral code. You can preview this message by clicking Preview.

    After I've referred someone, what does my referral see?

    Your referral will receive a LinkedIn message with your referral link, as well as some information about Sales Navigator. You can preview this message by clicking Preview on the Referral hub.

    They'll then be able to click on your referral link to sign up with your exclusive referral of 2 months free.

    How do I know if someone I referred signed up?

    You can see the referrals you’ve sent on the right side of the Referral hub. If someone has redeemed your referral link, they'll have a green check mark and Joined next to their name.

    What do my referrals receive?

    Anyone who signs up using your referral will receive their first 2 months of Sales Navigator free.

    Are all Sales Navigator users eligible for the Referral program?

    Yes, all Sales Navigator customers are eligible to refer friends or colleagues. In certain cases, a Sales Navigator contract admin might have turned off the Referral program for their contract. In such a scenario, you will not be able to refer friends or colleagues.

    Can I resend my referral to the same person?

    Yes, you can resend a referral to the same person:

    1. Sign in to Sales Navigator and click Referrals.

    2. Locate the user on the right side of the Referral hub and click More next to their name.

    3. From the options that appear, select Resend referral.

    Can I change the recipient of a referral I sent?

    If you change your mind about sending a referral to someone, you can take the link from that referral link and send it to another person.

    Here's a tip

    Each referral link may only be used once.


    Can multiple people use my referral link?

    Each referral you send is a unique link for that person. In order to share the referral with multiple people, you'll need to send individual referrals to each user.

    As an admin, can I turn off the Referral feature for my contract?

    Yes. A Sales Navigator admin user can turn off the Referral feature.

    1. From the Sales Navigator Home page, click Admin.

    2. Click Admin Settings.

    3. Click Referrals.

    4. Toggle the Turn on Referral option to No.
