There's a huge misconception behind what constitutes a startup today thanks to the dominant narrative heard from Silicon Valley's tech scene. In this lesson you will learn that not all startups are tech startups and that there are different growth strategies for each type of business. 

Not every idea qualifies as a viable business. In this lesson we'll discuss what it takes to "validate" an idea and prove that it's actually worth pursuing as a business. So many first time entrepreneurs skip this step and it ends up costing them crazy amounts of money and wasted time. Some ideas are great as hobbies or passions and others can turn into very profitable businesses. 

It's the most common question a first time entrepreneur worries about... should I be an LLC, a Delaware C-Corp? Do I need to incorporate? What is the best company structure? How much does it cost? We cover all of these questions in Lesson 3.
