
A brief introduction on How to Sample Ableton Live 10 to Create a Hiphop Track.
A technique to finding the perfect song to sample from.
I will be sampling from "The Fragrance of Dark Coffee" by Godot.
We will find the BPM of our music and then import it into Ableton Live.
I will breakdown how to warp the music correctly so that it is on time in the DAW.
We will export our sampled audio into Midi so that it is easy to craft an original melody.
We will use Ableton's Simpler to adjust our samples.
You will learn how to sample from drum loops to make your own drum pattern.
We will add more to our drum pattern and tweak the patterns in Simpler/Drum Rack.
This video will show you what you need to know to layer your sampled drums.
We will create a drum buss to mix our drums and also take a look at Ableton's new Drum Buss VST.
We will add some effects to our music and drum patterns.
We will design a simple sub bass in Ableton's Operator.
We will create an introduction to our track using audio from the original music.
I will now add different parts to our sampled track.
Now we will add automation to our track to blend each part of the arrangement.
We will use effect plug-ins as we arrange the track.
We will now create an outro section for our track by adding instruments, adding effects, and automating.
I will teach how to mix our drums and bass using EQ's and compression.
We will mix the sampled music in Live using EQs and compression.
