I’ve written this course because I’ve experienced stress and anxiety first hand in my life. I struggled with stress for many years before I discovered my own ways of dealing with it. I have taken courses in hypnosis and stress management and have discovered what works well for myself and patients in the clinic. As a medical doctor in General Practice I see a lot of patients dealing with stress in their lives.
This course runs for four weeks and will help you not only manage your stress better but also address the causes of the stress. It includes 22 short lessons with relaxation and meditation exercises that you can easily practice.
The course covers our body's reaction to stress through the Autonomic nervous system and how we can address this through some simple techniques. The first week is an overview of stress and our response to it. In the second week I look at how we can increase the body's rest and relaxation response. In the third week I look at ways to decrease our fight and flight response. In the fourth week I look at how we might change parts of our life to better reflect who we really are and find more meaning and purpose in order to change our stress filled lives for the better.

Instructor
I have been working in General Practice for over 30 years as a Holistic doctor. I have written two books - Holistic Medicine and Tools for Transformation. I have extensive experience in the field of medical education both undergraduate and postgraduate. I also have had personal experience with mental health issues in my life. I am currently working on my third book - How to Heal.
