This course will show you how to play and how to win the American version of the game of Mahjongg. The course is organized into the following sections: game setup, building your hand, understanding the card before you play and details on how to play. It is very convenient to stop, start or review sections as you see fit. If you are playing for the first time watch the course along with others so they you can all learn and reinforce the rules along the way.
Make sure you print out the Training Card and Cheat Sheet before you begin to help with your understanding. Once you have played a couple rounds you will be an expert and want to teach everyone you know.
There are quizzes along the way so that you are certain to understand what you have just learned. But of course, practice makes perfect.
Near the end, you will be exposed to many of the vast number of Mahjongg sequences that can be made for each line on the training card.

Long time player, teacher and strategist of American Mahjongg. Began to play back in the 1980’s playing the online concentration version of matching tiles and I have been hooked ever since. I play with teams, online and teach every chance that I get. I received my first real Mahjongg set as a going away present in 1990 and now I have acquired 7 full size and travel sets that I use to play with every chance I get.
