Collect basic information and referral details to frame the history assessment. Record present complaints in the patient's words, map chronology and severity, and note life events and drug use.

Learn how to perform a comprehensive mental state examination, observing appearance, behavior, speech, mood, thought form and content, cognition, perception, and insight to support psychiatric diagnosis and management.

I start by explaining the basic concepts, to the more abstract parts, making it efficient and user friendly. The videos contain guiding images and many of my insights and experience tips.

In the final section I give the audio file of the course, and also a printable and psychiatric evaluation form, which you can fill for each patient.
