Instructor
Bonjour my friend! I'm Julie Ombré - watercolorist and illustrator based in Prague with 6 years experience in teaching and watercolor painting.
As I remember myself I have been always drawing and painting. I tried oil, acrylic, pencil even digital art, and honestly, I wasn't bad in at it at all. But I always wanted to understand the watercolor. It's not a secret that it's one of the most difficult techniques of painting. At Architecture Academy I graduated from we didn't have watercolor classes, so I decided to learn it myself by visiting different courses of watercolorists. Usually my drawings are inspired by cities I visited or just want to visit. I really love architecture of European countries since I was student. Currently I continue with drawing of historical European cities but I also create watercolor landscapes of European countries, portraits and still lives. For my portraits I usually try to find people with interesting, natural and unique appearance. I'm still learning and I hope I'll be doing it all my life and at the same time share my arts and knowledge with other people.
My style of painting is close to Impressionism because I like do not hide the brushstrokes and I like to use plenty of water in my works. I adore to work with light and put on the paper bright colors. I really would be happy if you share my passion with me with help of my lessons.
Thank You for your interest in my arts and courses! I hope that here You'll find what you're looking for in my lessons!
