Introduction to How to Paint Crystals using alcohol ink, watercolor and Brusho1:20
Get ready to have some fun in this course! We will be doing a few different crystals and mediums in this class. The first one will be using Alcohol inks on yupo paper. The second medium will be with watercolors, and the third demo you will use Brusho crystal watercolors.
This is a beginner art course for those of you that want to develop your skills with a few different mediums creating similar yet different ways of creating these crystals.

Students will begin the first layer with masking fluid.6:33
Tape down your yupo paper and let's begin lightly shaking your masking fluid as not to add any bubbles. We will learn to create lovely and easy straight lines for your crystals using my secret tool.
Now that the masking fluid is dry students will begin painting using alcohol ink5:34
Students will see how to use alcohol inks with masking fluid to create a lovely border and easy way to contain your inks. We will be using the primary colors to create this crystal scene.
Once the painting has dried the masking will be removed0:52
Let your masking fluid dry and see how to remove the masking fluid.
Adding the final details using a pen4:32
Adding some final details with a black and white pen. Sharpies or micro pens work well along with posca pens. Students we see how to add some minor lines and details along the bottom as well as highlights to your crystals.
