Before jumping in to work on your shyness it is really important to have an awareness of the cause of your shyness. It could be a memory a belief. Unless we know what the cause is we won't know what to work on.

You can't change something if you are just angry with it and you just want to hit it, hide it, or avoid it. We need awareness with acceptance.
Step 1 is where in your body do you feel shyness. But also how do you feel it? It will be different for each person but it will be valuable for discovering connections to past events or beliefs that you hold for your shyness.
You observe events but your mind can delete, distort and generalise it. Unless you take control of your thinking you will be distorting reality to your detriment.
Writing a goal is not just about making a statement, there are three move very important ingredients to make sure your goal will be achieved.
Now we need to bring the ingredients together so that the goal is well formed in our thinking.
To avoid disappointment with our goals it is important to be detached so that we are flexible to change.
