  • What Are We Covering in This Course4:37

  • Step 1 - Your Ideal Clients Transformational Journey15:33

Discover why this needs to be the first 'big picture' step so you can then start to pick topics that are strategic and aligned. I suggest you watch all four steps and then fill out the journal afterwards so to you have cohesive big picture idea of all 4 steps and how they tie together.
PLEASE NOTE - I added a special video in the Bonus section about the Journal so you can see it properly and I expanded on my explanations found in this video.

  • Step 3 - The Flow of the Interview15:00

Remember that when you are planning out your interview and pitching it. You have to match the style of the podcast you would like to be on. Eg: if they are only short 30 min episodes then your storytelling part can only go for about 10 mins and then another 10 mins will be spent on useful tools/tips that can help the listener to get a result. However if it goes for 40-60 mins then you can extend the storytelling and more personal stories to build relatability.

  • Step 2 - Choosing the Perfect Topic to Talk About26:33

Start to make a list of topics that you would like to talk about on a podcast. I suggest keeping this list in one place (either a file or a specific book) because you will start to get ideas at all different times, even as you go to sleep. Jot down all the ideas and then make sure it always aligns with Step 1 - is relevant to your clients journey and the problems you solve...and also aligns with step 4 and you have an relevant CTA.

  • Step 4 - The Aligned Call to Action12:18

The final step that is the most important. Without planning for this you can make huge mistakes, but if you do it correctly you can build a fabulous relationship with your audience and get beautiful sales.

Description

This course is for people who want to start using Podcast Guest Speaking as a marketing strategy to grow their own audience and increase their sales.

Podcasts are amazing for long term SEO strategy and this course will help you think about the long term benefits of being featured on other peoples podcasts.

During the course I will take you through the super simple 4 steps I use and teach my clients about. These 4 steps will help make sure that you create truly interesting content that connects deeply with listeners. All while making sure that you provide great value and set yourself up as the expert in your field.

Sales and audience growth only happens when you can prove you have authority and the capability of getting results. I believe Podcasts are a powerful way of show casing your talents, your story, your abilities and forming that connection with your audience.

When you understand the 4 steps you will gain a greater insight into what Podcast Hosts are looking for. This means your pitch will be much more cohesive and interesting for them and increate your chances of them saying YES!

Included in the course is a downloadable Journal (with video explanation) as well as a 'Before you pitch checklist' to make sure you have done everything before you send your pitch.
