Social skills are extremely important not only in personal life but also the business. This course will help you to improve your communication skill and will show you how to make friends.
Knowing how to make friends is a skill that can be learned by everybody. We will work under the assumption that you can work on every bit of the conversation separately so in the course, I speak about 5 main areas that we must master if we want to know how to make friends in a new city, how to make friends in a school or generally how to make friends as an introvert.
The first area, we will discuss is our mindset. Every bit of communication comes from within and that is usually the biggest pain point. So I will talk about some mindsets that you can adapt as well so it is easier for you to start a conversation with people.
The second part we need to master is how to talk to people. That is probably the hardest problem. So in this section, I will teach you a technique that will allow you to be quiet most of the time, and yet the people you are talking to will totally love you. It works surprisingly well for me, so it will for you as well. We will talk about the proper art of asking the right questions and active listening skills.
In the following part, we will build upon talking. We will discuss reading body language. You will know what the other person feels like. Do they enjoy the talk? Don’t they enjoy that? You will know how to find this out. Also, I will tell you how to practice reading body language.
In the fourth lesson, we will speak about time and proactivity. We, introverts, tend to be more reactive than proactive meaning that we usually let other drag us around, ask us out, etc. That is nice but if you want to actively build friendships, you can change the strategy a bit and get a much higher return on that.
And in the last section, we will speak about where to find friends and how to widen your friends' circles. There are places where you can generally find and get more friends than others. So let’s explore that together.
To sum this up, we will talk about how to make friends.
