Mark is an entrepreneur, coach, recording artist and lover of life. He is also a bestselling author and an internationally-renowned speaker in self development and human potential.
Inspired by national success as an athlete in his teenage years, he had the privilege of being trained by an Olympic coach. In his early twenties, Mark began to experiment with what was possible in life. His personal journey so far includes building a web company from zero to seven figures (pioneering online property sales in the UK), managing a corporate team of 70 people, coaching #1 music sensation Ed Sheeran's mentor, setting up further businesses in the music and publishing and most recently living out another of his crazy dreams – releasing two bestselling albums, a Top 30 chart hit and performing three times at Glastonbury with his band Urban Myth Club. In 2014 he signed a major publishing deal with Warner Bros, and is currently co-writing and producing a top 30 US artist.
His personal development and training company, 4000 Saturdays, develops life-long learning courses. Mark also founded Ignite Teams, where like-minded people meet as a group to define, declare and deliver their life dream, whilst being coached and mentored. This growing movement has now spread to over 21 countries worldwide.
Mark has set up a number of philanthropic projects, organisations and charities including Thankubank, the One Million Random Acts of Kindness and most recently Foodshare, which has inspired 7,500 school children to grow and donate produce to local charities. His work has led him to be part of a UK Government-supported Taskforce looking into food growing in schools.
As an award-winning international speaker, Mark shares some of his discoveries in his forthcoming book, "Start From Your Heart", which helps people to refocus on what is really important in their life. Mark regularly appears on many television and radio shows (including BBC1, BBC2, ITV, Radio 5 Live), national newspaper and magazine articles. He continues to mentor, coach and work with hundreds of people from diverse backgrounds including championship athletes, entrepreneurs, cancer patients, musicians, teachers, prison inmates, students and businessmen and women.
Mark is co-founder, together with Mark Stay (creator of the movie 'Robot Overlords'), and host of the popular writing Podcast "The Bestseller Experiment" which inspires writers through their madcap journey of their novel 'Back to Reality' (written as Mark Oliver). The 'Two Marks' interview million-selling authors such as Michael Connolly, Joanna Harris and celebrities including Breaking Bad's Bryan Cranston to share the secrets to their success.
In an increasingly fast-paced world, Mark continues to explore ways to help people live their lives to the fullest, in a balanced, peaceful and meaningful way.
