How to become a successful travel writer

This travel writing course is created to help you break into the industry and build a career in it. I've used my working knowledge of the industry to help create it, and it's structured to suit complete beginners as well as those who already have a couple of bylines under their belt but want to build on that momentum.

I’ll be sharing my tried and tested tips on everything from finding a great story to writing a pitch that an editor will actually read and commission. I will also share what sort of publications pay and how much they pay. I want you to have a realistic expectation of the world of travel writing today so I will be diving into the highs and lows of the job as well. And because travel writing is still my full time job, all of the tips I share are relevant to those entering the industry today.

I won’t lie. Travel writing is a tough and competitive industry to break into. And it’s probably not going to make you rich. But it will give you a lot of incredible experiences and plenty of stories to tell.
