I have been teaching Bikram Yoga for more than 23 years. When I first began teaching, Bikram Yoga was one of the most widely practiced forms of yoga in the world. There was a reason you could find a Bikram Yoga studio in almost every major city—the sequence is profoundly healing and has helped countless people improve their health, mobility, strength, and overall wellbeing.

Over the years, however, many people have begun teaching this yoga without the depth of training, experience, or understanding required to preserve the integrity of the practice. As a result, the original sequence has often been diluted and is not always taught as it was intended.

I created this course to provide students with the opportunity to learn the authentic Bikram Yoga sequence and gain a deeper understanding of how each posture should be practiced to receive its maximum benefits.

If you’ve ever thought yoga wasn’t for you, this course may change your mind. One of the biggest misconceptions about yoga is that you need to be flexible before you begin. In reality, the opposite is true. Flexibility is developed through practice, and some of the people who benefit most from Bikram Yoga are those who feel stiff, restricted, or disconnected from their bodies.

This course is also ideal if you prefer learning at home, feel uncomfortable attending group classes, or simply want to build a consistent personal practice under the guidance of an experienced teacher. Throughout my career, I have owned and operated four Bikram Yoga centres and have spent more than two decades helping students of all ages and abilities discover the transformative benefits of this practice.

What You’ll Learn

In this course, you will:

  • Learn the complete Bikram Yoga sequence of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises.

  • See demonstrations of each posture and learn proper alignment and technique.

  • Receive detailed guidance on how to enter, hold, and exit each posture safely and effectively.

  • Understand the purpose and benefits of every posture within the sequence.

  • Gain insight into the traditional Hatha Yoga principles that underpin the Bikram method.

  • Develop a deeper understanding of why this sequence has been used successfully by practitioners around the world for decades.

Course Format

The course is delivered through easy-to-follow video instruction, allowing you to learn at your own pace and revisit lessons whenever you wish.

You will also receive a downloadable posture guide with photographs that you can use as a reference during your practice.

The course is divided into two sections:

Section One: Standing Postures
Section Two: Floor Postures

By the end of the course, you will have a solid understanding of the Bikram Yoga sequence, greater confidence in your practice, and a deeper appreciation of why this method has remained one of the most effective and transformative yoga systems in the world.
