Creating and managing your timeline is one of the biggest tasks that you need to handle when renovating or remodeling. Making sure that you are on track, that your contractors are sticking to their schedules and that products and materials are arriving on time and in the right quantities is critical.
And when you get off schedule, which can happen, what should you do to adjust?

When we speak of contractors, we're talking about a wide variety of contractors and subcontractors. So we decided to break out a list of many of the different types of contractors that could be a part of your renovation project as well as what and when they might show up on your project.
Dealing with permits and approvals can be a first for many jumping into remodeling and renovation. Like any governmental agency, it can take some getting used to. But a friendly attitude and a bit of patience and you'll soon be dealing with it like a pro!
Contracts - Not anyone's favorite topic but a critical one when doing renovations and remodeling. And it doesn't have to be complicated, but it is key to make sure that your contracts are clear and understandable for all parties.
