Cultures throughout history have effectively treated illnesses and injuries at home with herbs and spices.
We often think that spices and herbs are included in recipes for flavor, but actually many of them were initially incorporated into the food we eat for their medicinal and health giving qualities. Here are just a few examples of what you will learn:
Black pepper for colds, flu, digestion, memory and arthritis
Cinnamon for decongestion, immunity boost, antibacterial, blood sugar stabilization
Mint for nutrition, brain function, relaxation, digestion and nausea
Basil for headaches, stress, insomnia, topical antibacterial and antioxidant properties
Ginger for joint health, colds, PMS and nausea
Many more...
Using Herbs and spices as medicine is no more difficult than making an easy recipe or even simply steeping a cup of tea. For your own health and healing, you should use them often.
