In this section students will learn how to read and address the grant eligibility requirements and learn how they can obtain a copy of the relevant program information and guidelines before making an application.
In this section students will learn to read the assessment criteria for a funding application and to ensure that their project fits with the aims of the grant that they are applying for.
Students will learn how to begin putting their grant application together, while paying attention to the key assessment criteria and how to address them. Students will get to think about their project in more detail by answering some important questions.
In this section students will be able to learn about how to format a grant application properly, describe their project succinctly, and what kind of support material is required by the funding body.
In this sections student will learn time management skills, create TO DO lists and give themselves plenty of time to get the grant application completed and submitted by the due date.
In this section students will learn how to create a realistic budget that balances, get quotes for venues, equipment, professional services and materials etc.
In this section students will learn how to make the budget balance and add in-kind support to both the income and expenditure columns.
In this section students will learn about what happens once they are ready to submit their application, how to submit it and who decides if their application will be accepted or rejected.
Students will learn how to write and submit a high-quality acquittal with supporting documents to the organisation they received funding from in the required amount of time.
In this section we will wrap up the course in this section and student will have the opportunity to ask and questions in the FAQ section and leave feedback in the feedback section.

This course is for Australian emerging and professional creative practitioners and cultural organisations with little or no experience in writing and submitting grants or for anyone who wants to improve their grant writing skills.
The grant writing process that I teach in this course can be applied to all kinds of Australian arts grants, including Federal, State, Local and some Philanthropic grants.
The contents of this course are intended for Australian grant recipients; however, the process can be applied to arts grants from any country, but the criteria and rules may vary.
