Description
If your passion is in sports or business then you know the importance of a cohesive team and effective leadership. This course will give you insight into how to structure your team's leadership foundation and how to effectively develop your team in order to achieve maximum performance and cohesion.
Why isn't the team engaged and motivated? Where is the integrity and accountability within the team? Do we have a leadership problem? Is our culture toxic? Leigh Middleton has spent a decade answering those questions while leading and managing highly specialized wildfire rappel crews and developed a course to solve these problems. The course will give you the blueprint so you can avoid asking yourself those questions or answer those questions if they are currently a problem for you.
Leigh considers himself very fortunate to have had such an incredible 13 year career as a Wildland Firefighter with the Alberta Wildfire Rappel Program. He has fought fire in Canada, The United States, and Australia. The most rewarding part of his job was mentoring other team members into leadership positions, and help them develop the strategies and mindset to realize their leadership potential. Today he helps others reach their own leadership potential and team development goals.

Instructor
My name is Leigh Middleton and I started Leading Endeavour when I finished my 13th year as a Wildfire Rappel Firefighter in Alberta Canada. I was very fortunate to have had the opportunity to lead some of the hardest working, smartest, and most determined people on the planet for 10 years in some of the most extreme environmental conditions.
The Wildfire Rappel Program was cut in the fall of 2019 due to budget cutbacks but I wanted all of the leadership lessons I had learned and was taught as a member of the elite program to live on. I came into the program as a young 19 year old kid and started leading crews when I was 22. I learned every lesson in the book the hard way. So I wanted to share my decade of leadership and team development experience with you so that you can save yourself the stress and get the results you want faster.
In order to put together the best courses possible I talked with some incredibly smart and talented leaders in emergency services, business, and professional sports management to make sure that the information is transferrable to you no matter your situation.
