Welcome to this E-Course! In this Psycho-educational E-Course, you will have access to relevant topics and content that will allow you to be more present and prepared for your therapy appointments. Each E-course outlines a particular subject topic in mental health and gives you and your client a basic understanding and definition of this topic. Furthermore, there will be simple activities, exercises, references and resources related to each respective topic.
Each course contains about +4 sessions worth of material to cover about a month’s period of time. Even better, each session has a pre-recorded D.A.P Note that you are able to copy and edit to your satisfaction and reflection of ethical treatment standards. Moreover, you can use them with multiple clients as long as you working with that particular issue. These courses are intended for home-based therapists and mental health professionals of all kinds.
Whether you work in private-practice, community agency and/or residential settings or if you are an LCSW, LPC, LMHC, or an intern, you can benefit from this course. Instructor
Mark Nathaniel Skelton, the owner of Skelton Neurocounseling LLC, is a mental health professional who has over +10 years experience in mental health services with working in addictions, adolescents, brain-training, contract home-based therapy, intake positions through hospitals & residential, private practice, sexual offense treatment, and special needs.
Mr. Skelton has a Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Christian Theological Seminary and a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Indiana University Purdue University (IUPUI). Mark has also obtained basic training in Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence based-approach of addressing trauma. Mr. Skelton also has prior credentials in Credential Sexually Abusive Youth Clinician (CSAYC) and experience as a Cognitive Skills Brain Trainer at Learning Rx. Currently, Mr. Skelton is pursuing a Doctorate of Clinical Psychology (PsyD) at Kansas City University of Medicine & Biosciences.
Last, but definitely not least, Mark N. Skelton is an ordained minister within the churches of Christ and currently serves as a bible school teacher to adolescents at Metro Church of Christ.
