Description
Throughout life, events mentally pull people in contradictory directions. At a subconscious level we often are in conflict with ourselves and if this is a result of emotionally loaded or traumatic events, a whole array of mental health problems can arise. This advanced brief intervention technique is subtle but immensely powerful for healing the mind.
As mental health professionals, we often treat different conditions as separate issues. But as I teach all my advanced students; the structure behind the structure of the condition is the real leverage point for change! This course teaches you how to identify and heal what underlies many cases of anxiety, depression, rumination, stagnation and stress.
This course is ideal for both therapists and coaches. By doing this course you will understand how to identify 'Parts' issues from your clients verbal and non-verbal behaviours and to employ effective brief intervention techniques to solve these issues.
All of the psychology is explained and there are no less than four live demonstrations for you to watch, unpack and see this dynamic psychology in action - so you can effectively and confidently apply the interventions yourself. There are also downloadable scripts for you to use in session with your clients.
If you are a life coach, business coach, counsellor, psychologist or psychotherapist - this course will add serious value to your practice and your client's experiences.

I believe if you’re going to do something - then be the best! It’s my pursuit of excellence and enthusiastically sharing what I've learned that led me to study of excellence and Human Potential itself – Neuro-Semantics, Self-Actualisation Psychology, NLP, & Meta-Coaching. I also hold a Doctorate in Clinical Hypnotherapy (with Distinction), have a degree in Philosophy, and run a thriving coaching and therapeutic practice.
I was an IANLP Fellow Member Trainer from 2009 until retiring from extended public training in 2024, and am still an ISNS Master Trainer specialising in the Neuro-Semantic Self-Actualisation Trainings, based on self-actualisation psychology. I conduct training for many business and government organisations from short courses through to career development trainings which I certify at an international level.
Though also a certified ‘Coach’ with the IANLP; I consider my premium training as coming from the direct tutelage of Dr L. Michael Hall PhD, the developer of Neuro-Semantics. I share Michael’s passion for Self-Actualisation psychology. As a Trainer with the ISNS I graduated the top of my class in 2007 and became a Master Trainer in 2014. I train internationally and speak at conferences worldwide. In 2015 I published ‘How To Chill Out’, my book on stress management and positive communication based on coaching and training I developed after the devastating earthquakes that hit my home town of Christchurch New Zealand throughout 2010-2011.
I'm available to conduct training and coaching worldwide, in person or virtually.
