Description

Introduction to Christian Theology

A Structured Approach to Understanding Biblical Doctrines and Biblical Theology

Christian Faith

Systematic theology is an organized study that brings together all the major themes and teachings of the Bible into a coherent framework.  It addresses theological topics systematically, summarizing biblical teachings on each subject and presenting a well-

ordered system of Christian doctrine. The term theology derives from Greek theos (God) and logos (word or study), literally meaning the study of God. Systematic theology helps believers and scholars understand how Scripture's truths form a

unified whole by examining doctrines of God, humanity, salvation, the Church, and other key topics in an orderly manner.  This discipline is vital for several reasons:

• It ensures doctrinal consistency by helping believers interpret Scripture without

contradictions

• It strengthens Christian faith by deepening knowledge of God and the Christian life

• It equips believers for apologetics by providing logical and scriptural foundations to

defend the faith

• It applies directly to everyday life by helping Christians live with conviction and confidence.

As 2 Timothy 3:16 affirms, all Scripture is God-breathed and useful for teaching, conviction, correction, and training in righteousness. The study should be approached with prayer, humility, reason, and help from others in the body of Christ.

Who this course is for:

  • This course is for you to get a better understanding of what Christians believe and why we depend on the bible to know God.
