If handstand is a pose that has niggled at you, but you’ve never had the confidence or public space to try then this 7 class course is for you. We will explore overcoming fears around kicking up to the wall along with other hand balances and inversions that will build your skills for success with handstand.
This first class will set the tone for respecting any of the fears we have around handstand no matter how silly they may seem. We will explore low to the ground hand balances to build strength and confidence before approaching the wall for the first time. All blended within a warming flow to open the body and cooling off with rehab stretches for the shoulders.
Building on class 1, in this class 2 we will explore headstand (and modifies versions if you’re not yet ready) to work on alignment in space once we go upside down.
Compression strength is an important skill to build in preparation for press work. In this flow we will focus on engaging through the deep core and hip flexors.
Drills are tough but great to proper into your handstand work to isolate areas of strength you want to improve on. This class has a few drills that you can come back to as and when you feel the need.

Let’s put it all together in this full length handstand flow...
