In this lecture, we explore the key differences between traditional hand reflexology and Thai hand reflexology. While both modalities stimulate reflex points on the hands to support overall wellness, Thai hand reflexology offers a more flowing, holistic experience. This beautiful practice blends rhythmic movements, stretching, and pressure techniques using both the hands and a traditional Thai reflexology stick. It becomes a graceful dance—enhancing circulation, energy flow, and deep relaxation. You’ll learn how Thai hand reflexology provides a more complete, meditative treatment that engages both practitioner and client on a deeper level.
In this lecture, you’ll learn how to comfortably hold and use the Thai reflexology stick. Once you get the feel for it, the stick becomes a natural extension of your hand, adding flow and precision to your Thai hand reflexology treatments.
Now, I will show you the major differences between using and not using bodyweight and why its so important.
Here is a little overview to demonstrate how easy it is to get a quick understanding of where the reflex zones are.
My Facebook group and Instagram are great resources for you
Ok, we are nearly ready to get started, a couple of final things.
In this lecture, we’ll explore different techniques for treating your own hands using Thai hand reflexology. You’ll learn how to use the stick effectively for self-care, and I’ll also show you how to do thumb walking if you’d like to add that into your routine. It’s all about finding what feels good and works best for you!
Now we’re going to start treating ourselves—learning what it feels like to apply Thai hand reflexology on our own hands. This is a chance to really connect with the techniques, feel the effects for yourself, and enjoy the wonderful benefits like improved circulation, relaxation, and overall balance.
It’s hands-on, simple, and a great way to care for yourself while practicing your skills.
Now we’re going to practise on the opposite hand. This is your time to really get a feel for the movements, work on your technique, and enjoy the relaxing benefits.
We’ll have some gentle music playing in the background so you can just focus, flow, and let the rhythm guide you through the routine.
Take your time and enjoy the process—this is all about feeling good and getting confident with the technique.
Now we’ll put it all together and go through the full Thai hand reflexology sequence on both hands.
This is your chance to practise everything you’ve learned in a smooth, flowing routine—supported by calming background music to help you stay relaxed and focused.
Follow along, enjoy the rhythm, and let this be a deeply grounding and nourishing experience for both body and mind.
Feel free to repeat this session anytime you need a reset or a little self-care moment.
Now we’re going to practise on someone else.
We’ll look at how to ask for the right kind of feedback—so you can adjust your pressure, improve your technique, and build confidence.
We’ll also go over what to say when someone mentions a sensitive area, and how to respond in a supportive and professional way—without diagnosing.
Now we’ll go through the full sequence and techniques on the other person’s hand.
This is your chance to put everything into practice—working with flow, using the techniques you’ve learned, and paying attention to how the hand responds. Take your time, stay present, and remember to check in with them as you go.
This session is all about building confidence and getting comfortable treating someone else.
Now we’ll move on to the other hand and go through the full sequence again—this time with gentle music in the background.
Let the music help you stay relaxed and focused as you continue practising your techniques, building flow, and getting more comfortable working on someone else.
Just enjoy the rhythm and take your time.
Now it’s time to bring it all together with the full sequence on both hands, flowing smoothly from one to the other with relaxing music in the background.
This is your opportunity to practise everything as a complete treatment—focusing on rhythm, connection, and comfort for both you and the person you’re working on.
Let the music support your pace, and enjoy the flow of the full routine from start to finish.
