Ill talk about how to hold the guitar properly, how to pick correctly, how to tune the guitar, and how to name everything on the guitar in a physical sense. Put it all together in the end and possess the ability to find your favorite songs and start learning them! The end goal, is that you will now feel comfortable taking steps to advance your level on guitar in the following ways: expand chord knowledge, learn your favorite songs, understand how to read guitar tabs and techniques that go with that, be confident in going forward to learn more scale patterns, understand how strumming techniques and strum patterns work in songs that use chord charts, and just increase your knowledge as a guitar player, in order to instill confidence in learning whatever style you choose to learn next.
