Grow Your Social Following and Email List For Music Artists
- You will need a Hypeddit account, but we will talk about this in the course.
- It is a good idea to have a SoundCloud account with either a Pro or Pro Unlimited plan
- Students should also look into getting an autoresponder service such as MailChimp (Free) or Aweber (reliable)
Do you spend hours on your craft, perfecting your music - only to be left with few (if any) streams and a seemingly dead-end once your music is ready? Do you wish you could quickly and easily find a way to build your email list? Would you like to build more followers on all the big social media platforms, music streaming platforms? You can even ask for donations. Then look no further! This free course is exactly what you need to answer all of those questions with an optimistic answer.
The course uses a website called Hypeddit to get email subscribers to your Aweber, GetResponse, MailChimp or any other email service provider within minutes. You will also have social media followers on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Twitch, TikTok...and many more within minutes of setting up your campaign. If you want to build your follower numbers on streaming sites such as SoundCloud, YouTube, Spotify, Apple iTunes and many more within minutes - this is a no-brainer too.
As a musician of 27 years experience and an experienced music marketing expert, I will teach you everything I know about Hypeddit and your worries of how many people are listening to your music will be a thing of the past. Thank you for your interest in this course.
Who this course is for:
- Music Producers, artists, bands or other musicians who have music ready to be marketed.
My name is David Verney and I specialise in the provision of music production courses. I have more than five years experience in using computer hardware and software to create electronic music and I have more than 25 years experience as a musician.
My musical history really started back in 1994 when I started to play guitar. From there, I was heavily influenced by late 1990s trance music and have many memories of clubbing and enjoying the best that electronic music has to offer.
I have since been to University to do a Foundation Degree in Creative Music Production and studied with the University of Wolverhampton.
I am now a part of EDM duo, Krannaken, and we have released three albums and three EP's including the recent Lost Youth EP which is proving to be a real success.
I live just outside Birmingham in central England with my wife and two year old son.
