Description

This course is designed for learners who have completed at least one semester or a year of Modern Greek.   It is ideal for those at an A2/B1 CEFR level or anyone familiar with basic tenses, moods, and cases. The lessons will immerse learners in the captivating world of ancient Greek myths—all taught in Modern Greek—making the experience both educational and enjoyable.

The primary goal of this course is to help you improve your listening comprehension, expand your vocabulary and solidify the grammatical structures of  Modern Greek. In this course we will cover some of the most famous Greek myths: Pandora's box, Cecrops and the myth of the olive (tree), Persus and Medusa, The apple of discord, and many others.  Each  lesson comes with a detailed worksheet that aligns perfectly with the video content, ensuring your active production of the language and as a reference for future lessons.

To reinforce your progress, the course includes quizzes for most lessons and additional reinforcing activities in  the Wordwall platform, all designed to test your understanding of the myths and to solidify the new vocabulary as well as the structures found in the lessons.
