Explore the differential equations module as part of a modular GRE subject math prep course. Each module offers a separate UDMA course, assuming knowledge of basic calculus and linear algebra.
Learn to solve a first order linear ODE using the formula to form homogeneous and particular solutions, then analyze second-order constant-coefficient cases and visualize slope fields.
Identify separable equations, apply integrating factors and boundary conditions to determine constants, and analyze derivative conditions and quadrant behavior to select quiz answers.
There are only a few ODE questions in the subject exam and the material in the lectures is sufficient. However, in the PDF here you can find more practice questions.

This course is a prep course for the GRE Subject exam in Mathematics. If you wish to apply for a grad program in math, statistics and such, this exam is required.
This is the fifth module and includes all the original differential equations material needed in order to excel in the exam. More importantly, the course teaches techniques for solving problems FAST (since in the exam you will have 2.5 min per question - very little time).
We will go over the following topics:
The course is designed to review all that is necessary to get you up to speed and get you solving real exam problems. Content covered in the previous modules is assumed.
