Description

Learn and understand Theory of Music for Grade 2 Trinity. After this course you will be able to do grade 2 theory of music in the Trinity Syllabus. You will also be able to do a Grade 2 Theory of Music Exam in Trinity and will be ready to move on to Grade 3 Theory of Music in Trinity.

In this course you will learn the following:

New Notes in the Treble and Bass Clef, New Note Values, New Time Signatures, Slow and Fast Beats, Syncopation, Relative Minor and Majors, Minor Keys, Intervals in Maj and Min 2nds and 3rds, Labelling Scales, 1st Inversions of a Tonic Triad, Minor Arpeggios, Labelling Scales, Broken Chords, Working out the Key of a Piece, Circle of 5ths, Sequences, Transposing, Musical Words and Symbols and Writing your own tune to a given rhythm and an Analysis.

You will also have access to a sample paper with answers which is a good practice especially when you want to write an exam.

Preferably it would be best to have knowledge of Grade 1 Theory of Music under the Trinity syllabus, because the grades follow up on each other.

At the end of the lectures, under section 2, there is access to answers of all the exercises in the book.

Please note it will be best to have either a hard copy book of Grade 2 Theory of Music of Trinity or the eBook to do the exercises and follow the course.
