Description
In this course we equip entrepreneurs and small business owners with the tools to establish themselves as qualified government vendors. You will learn what agencies to register your business with. We will teach you the importance of a DUNS number, EIN, NAICS codes, CIS codes, where you can apply for them (the ones that need an application), and how they affect your business. You will be provided with resources that will show you how to find government contacts. You will learn how to find other companies within your industry of similar size that have won previous contracts, so you can see who your completion is. You will be provided with resources to help you preparing your team to respond to an RFP (request for proposal). You will get an example of a management chain, to ensure your proposal is completed and submitted in a timely manner. We will teach you how to write a compelling capability statement. you will learn some of the language surrounding government contracting. We will give you all the tools to source solicitations, write a confident proposal and price appropriately when you bid. We will teach you about small business set asides. We will even teach you how to network within your industry so that you can build your business profile within your particular industry.
