Darrell Cook is an a pianist and organist that has been playing gospel, jazz, and neo-soul keys for over 15 years.
Groomed to play at the Shiloh Baptist Church in Erie Pa, Darrell learned quickly to thrive in the demanding environment on urban church musicianship. His first assignment was to manage four choirs, a five piece band, and praise team. This experience forced him to learn all of the styles and approaches necessary in a urban church context.
Throughout the years he has shared the stage with CeCe Winans, JJ Hairston & Youthful Praise, The Chautauqua Youth Mass Choir and several others.
After years of playing and traveling Darrell decided to begin to teach what he knows to upcoming musicians. His vision to train others was realized with the website Sonsofthunderpro.com which he started in 2009. Since that time he has trained thousands of musicians online.
Darrell is also a gifted preacher and Pastors the Christ Community Church. He is happily married to his wife of seven years Shavonne Cook. The two continue to grow in ministry and in love.
