Quick Win: How to use and access Google Nano Banana Last Models
In this lecture, you will learn how to turn a simple portrait into a high-end, cinematic film poster using Gemini’s Nano Banana image generation tools. We will bridge the gap between "basic AI photos" and "professional marketing assets" by mastering different generation modes.
What We Will Do
The "Quick Win": Transform a photo instantly using Fast Mode and standard prompts.
The Pro Upgrade: Use the "Redo with Pro" feature to fix digital artifacts and enhance realism without changing your prompt.
The Gold Standard: Use Thinking Mode combined with a Structured Prompt to control specific details like 9:16 aspect ratios, cinematic lighting, and atmospheric effects.
Purpose of the Lecture
The goal is to show you how to achieve immediate professional results for business presentations, posters, or social media ads. You’ll walk away knowing exactly when to use "Fast Mode" for speed and how to apply "Pro" level techniques for your most important projects.
In this lesson, learners discover how to create consistent character images using Nano Banana. We start by building a strong base model that becomes the identity reference for every future image. Then we generate a few simple multi-angle shots so the AI understands the character’s face and body from different perspectives. Once this foundation is set, we can place the same character into any scene — coffee shops, weddings, travel photos, fashion editorials, or cinematic night shots — while keeping the person’s appearance perfectly consistent. This workflow helps learners create professional-quality, realistic, and branded images for social media, storytelling, or personal projects.
✨ Short Example Prompt (Simple + Effective)
Coffee Shop Lifestyle Prompt:
“Uploaded character sitting at a modern wooden café table holding a white coffee cup. Soft daylight, warm atmosphere, shallow depth of field with a blurred coffee shop background. Candid influencer-style lifestyle shot, sharp focus on the character, ultra-realistic detail, 8K photography.”
? Google Whisk + Nano Banana: Cinematic AI Prompt Engineering
1. Introduction
Welcome to another AI tutorial!
Today we’ll explore Google Whisk, a creative image-mixing tool from Google Labs.
2. What It Does
Whisk creates visuals by mixing images, not writing prompts.
You upload 3 images:
Subject (main person or object)
Scene (background or environment)
Style (look or mood)
Whisk blends them into one new image.
3. Who It’s For
Perfect for creatives — designers, photographers, artists, and visual storytellers.
4. How It Works
Uses Google Gemini to understand your images.
Nano Banana generates the final cinematic result.
Focused on visual remixing and fast creative testing.
5. How to Access
Search “Google Whisk” on Google.
Click the Google Labs link.
Some countries may not have access yet.
Sign in with your Google account (free or premium).
6. Interface Overview
Clean, simple design.
Sidebar = upload subject, scene, and style.
You can also type short text prompts.
7. Key Features
Aspect ratios: square, portrait, or landscape.
Fixed seed: keeps results consistent.
Precise reference: sticks to your uploaded style.
Favorites tab: save what you love.
My Library: view all past creations.
In this lesson, we explore how AI helps you learn and control camera angles without needing a real studio, camera, or model. Instead of setting up lights, renting equipment, or reshooting scenes, you simply write a prompt and instantly see the angle you want. This makes learning visual storytelling faster, cheaper, and far more creative.
You’ll see how one reference image can be transformed into many perspectives — full body, medium shots, close-ups, aerial angles, and dramatic viewpoints — all while keeping the same character and scene consistent. It’s a practical skill you can use for video planning, marketing visuals, presentations, game design, education, social media, or storytelling. By the end, you’ll understand how small changes in angle can completely change the emotion and impact of an image.
ASPECT RATIO SOLUTION
a. To get 1:1, 16:9 and 9:16 aspect ratio images
Pick the best image per scene then: go to google Whisk AI
b. To get better upper resolution of the image, to upscale the images
Upscale / enhance (use tool built-in upscaler). (CANVA)
ASPECT RATIO:
After uploading, you will see a yellow checkmark in the top-right corner, which indicates the upload is complete. Next, in the prompt window at the bottom, click on the aspect ratio icon and select the ratio you want.
For example, I select 9:16 for Instagram Reels and then send the prompt. In a short time, the photo originally in 16:9 format is converted to 9:16 vertical format, ready to post on Instagram Reels.
Similarly, after deleting the old photo and uploading a new one (again, make sure the yellow checkmark appears), you can select 1:1 for a square format and get a perfectly cropped image.
Here’s a quick reminder of common social media photo ratios:
Instagram posts or carousels: 4:5 (portrait) or 1:1 (square)
Storybook PDF pages: 3:4 or A4 (portrait) for a clean, book-like layout
Reels or Tik Tok videos: 9:16 (vertical, full-screen)
Using Whisk, you can easily prepare your images in the correct sizes for social media and digital publishing.
To get better upper resolution of the image, to upscale the images
Secondly, if you are also not satisfied about the resolution of the images that you get from Nano Banana, you can use the online platforms but I always suggest using Canva app to get images with better resolution.
For this example, I’m going to use a photo we created in 16:9 format.
First, I make sure the image is really 16:9.
Then I go to Canva, at www.canva.com. Click the “Create a design” button in the top right to start a new project.
Once the page opens, I pick the size — here I select 16:9 horizontal, the presentation format. Now we have a ready workspace.
Next, let’s upload our photo. Super easy — either drag and drop it into Canva, or click the “Upload” button on the left and select it from your computer.
After the photo is uploaded, right-click on it and choose “Set image as background.” This makes the photo fit perfectly in the 16:9 layout.
Now go to the Apps menu on the left, type “Image Upscaler” in the search bar, and pick any tool you like.
I’ll select the “Image Upscaler” app and hit the Upscale button. This boosts the resolution of our image.
What we will do:
We are going to use a specific "two-step prompting system." First, we use an Expert Educator Template to strip a dense document down to its most valuable parts. Second, we use the Visual Infographic Prompt to command the AI to "draw" those notes on realistic spiral-bound paper with architectural handwriting and sketches.
The Result:
A professional-grade, camera-ready infographic (in both horizontal and vertical formats) that looks like it was meticulously hand-drawn by a top-tier student or designer, ready to be shared with students, clients, or on social media.
In this lesson, we explore how a single uploaded portrait can evolve into many different birthday-themed photoshoot concepts using AI. The goal is to show learners how small creative choices — background, lighting, props, outfits, and mood — can completely transform the story a photo tells.
Instead of relying on complicated tools or professional studios, we guide learners through realistic and achievable scenarios: playful balloons in a corner of the room, elegant editorial setups, cozy birthday dinners, or dramatic studio lighting. Each concept stays rooted in the original uploaded photo, making the results feel personal and authentic.
Throughout the lesson, learners discover how to design scenes that match their personality: fun, stylish, emotional, glamorous, or modern. With every example, they not only learn what to create but why certain choices (colors, poses, textures, light angles) create specific emotional effects.
By the end, they can confidently generate birthday photos that feel beautifully crafted — not artificial — and use AI as a storytelling partner to celebrate their identity, age, and style.
? Example Prompt (Polished & Ready to Use)
Here’s one clean, professional prompt from the lecture — rewritten for clarity and premium image quality:
Birthday Concept Prompt — “Black Balloons in the Corner”
“Use the uploaded image as the face reference. Create a simple birthday photoshoot in a bright white room. Place the birthday person seated on the floor in the corner of the room, surrounded by scattered black balloons. Add minimal black pennant banners along the top of the wall for decoration. Outfit: modern black suit with a burgundy tie. Keep the mood playful, relaxed, and stylish — like a clean studio birthday shoot. Capture in a realistic photographic style with soft lighting and clear detail.”
In this part of the lesson, we take birthday photoshoots to the next level by showing learners how a single idea can expand into a full visual story. Instead of creating just one final image, we explore how to produce a short sequence of shots — just like B-Roll in filmmaking — to build emotion, variety, and narrative flow.
Learners discover how small changes in angle, distance, and framing completely transform the mood of an image, while still keeping everything consistent with the original uploaded photo. This helps them create social-media-ready mini-stories, smooth transitions for Reels, and more impactful before-and-after montages.
We also guide them through turning their three images into a polished, magazine-style collage. By arranging a hero image with two supporting shots, they learn how to build a coherent visual set that feels intentional, modern, and professional. It’s a simple technique that dramatically elevates any personal or brand-oriented content.
By the end of this section, learners understand not just how to make a single good picture — but how to create a sequence that feels like a real photoshoot with depth, character, and style.
? Example Prompt Set (Polished & Ready to Use)
Below is a refined example using one of your scenarios.
Main Shot (Hero Image)
“Use the uploaded photo as the locked identity reference. Create an editorial birthday photoshoot on a clean light-gray background. The birthday person stands confidently, wearing a fitted black suit, a gold belt, and sunglasses. He holds black balloons shaped as [NUMBER OF YOUR AGE]. Keep the lighting modern and soft, like a premium studio portrait.”
In this part of the course, we build a complete visual world around your wedding brand concept: “Always in Love.”
Rather than treating each mockup or scene as a separate idea, learners discover how a single logo — a simple pair of interlocking initials wrapped with delicate floral lines — can transform into an entire design system that feels cohesive, elegant, and timeless.
We explore how this logo behaves across real wedding products such as album covers, invitations, wine bottles, candles, gift boxes, and full signing-table scenes. The goal is to show how professional designers develop a consistent visual language that works everywhere, from small keepsakes to wide editorial scenes with the bride and groom.
Later, learners also see how to turn wedding photos into emotional collages. Each collage style — romantic, editorial, bold — teaches them how to control balance, color mood, layering, and visual hierarchy.
By the end, they understand not just how to generate beautiful images, but how to build a full brand atmosphere around a couple’s story: warm light, soft pastels, golden touches, and editorial elegance.
? One Clean, Ready-to-Use Master Prompt Example
(You can present this as the main demonstration inside the lecture.)
Master Wedding Brand Scene Prompt
“Use the uploaded image of the couple as the locked identity reference. Place them inside a beautifully decorated wedding setup inspired by the ‘Always in Love’ brand. Style the environment with soft pastel florals, gentle greenery, and subtle golden details.
Display the ‘Always in Love’ logo — interlocking serif initials (A & M) with thin floral line-art and gold foil effect — naturally on the wedding album cover, the invitation card, the wine bottle, the candle, and the gift box on the table. Make the logo appear realistic and integrated, not floating or over-edited.
Lighting: warm golden-hour sunlight with a gentle reflector fill, soft bokeh in the background, and a slight cinematic haze for warmth and depth.
Camera: high-resolution DSLR-style look using a 35–50 mm focal length, wide aperture (f/1.8–f/2.8) for a shallow depth-of-field and creamy background blur.
Mood & Style: airy, romantic, elegant, and editorial. Capture natural expressions and gentle interaction between the couple, as if photographed during an authentic wedding moment. Maintain luxurious tones and balanced composition, suitable for garden, vineyard, or cozy outdoor venues. Produce the output in high-resolution for professional display.”
In this lesson, learners build a complete Mini PR Kit using AI.
First, they create a personal logo in different styles. Then they generate two professional portraits that match their brand identity. After that, they place their logo into realistic office scenes and mockups to create polished branding visuals. Finally, they design a signature business card using their logo, photo, and personal details.
The goal is to help anyone create a clean, professional personal brand package — fast, affordable, and studio-quality — using only AI prompts.
In this lecture, you’ll learn how to use four types of portraits to tell your entrepreneurial story:
Professional — show authority and trust.
Creative / Behind-the-Scenes — show energy and action.
Lifestyle — show your approachable, human side.
Visionary — show ambition and future focus.
You’ll also see how to combine them in a clean collage to create a cohesive, visually appealing narrative of who you are as an entrepreneur.
It’s all about storytelling through visuals to connect, inspire, and build your personal brand.
Prompts from the Lecture
"Can you remove the people who are standing on the beach?"
"Make this in dramatic lighting and some of them are holding umbrellas."
"A dramatic scene, professional shot, this man is standing next to this sport car."
"Colorize the image."
"Change the all clothes of yellow."
"Turn this scene into a winter scene."
"Make the woman sad."
More Effective Prompts for Nano Banana
1. Advanced Object Removal & Background Replacement
Instead of a general request like "remove the people," a more effective prompt specifies exactly what you want to remove and what should replace it, ensuring the final image is seamless and realistic.
Target Scenario: Removing people from a crowded beach and adding a new, serene atmosphere.
Prompt: Remove all people from the scene. Replace them with a tranquil, pristine beach landscape. Ensure the remaining elements like the water, sand, and sky are enhanced with a golden hour glow. Maintain consistent lighting and color harmony with the new, empty scene.
2. Detailed Scene Transformation with a Focus on Mood
This prompt goes beyond "dramatic lighting" by using specific terms to describe the desired mood and visual style, ensuring a more cohesive and professional result.
Target Scenario: Turning a sunny group photo into a moody, theatrical scene.
Prompt: Transform this scene into a noir-style photograph. Apply high-contrast, black-and-white lighting with deep shadows and sharp highlights. Add several people holding classic, full-sized black umbrellas to suggest a sudden downpour. Make the subjects' expressions more serious and contemplative to match the new somber atmosphere.
3. Sophisticated Composite Scene Creation
For combining objects, clarity is essential. This prompt breaks down the task into specific actions and provides visual cues to ensure the final image looks like a professional photoshoot.
Target Scenario: Placing a model next to a car in a high-end setting.
Prompt: Create a high-resolution composite image. Place the man from the provided photo standing confidently next to the sports car. Position him at a three-quarter angle, looking directly at the camera with a subtle smirk. Set the scene in a luxurious, modern parking garage at night. Use cinematic lighting with bright, targeted spotlights on the car and the man to create a sense of drama and opulence. Ensure the man's reflection is visible in the car's body panels for maximum realism.
4. Precise Object & Color Manipulation
Instead of a broad command like "Change the all clothes of yellow," a more effective prompt specifies which items to change and to what exact color, while also giving the AI instructions on how to handle the new colors.
Target Scenario: Uniformly changing the color of T-shirts in a group photo.
Prompt: Isolate all T-shirts in the image and change their color to a vibrant, warm saffron yellow (#FDB813). Ensure the new color is applied evenly, preserving the original fabric texture and shadows. Do not alter the color of any other clothing or objects.
5. Emotional and Environmental Transformation
This prompt demonstrates how to combine environmental and emotional changes for a more powerful and convincing transformation.
Target Scenario: Changing a happy summer selfie into a sad winter scene.
Prompt: Completely transform the scene into a stark, cold winter landscape. Replace the background with a snow-covered park and bare trees under a cloudy, gray sky. Adjust the subject's expression to one of quiet melancholy or sadness. Alter the lighting to be flat and muted, consistent with a winter day. Maintain the subject's pose and camera angle, but add subtle visual cues like a faint mist of breath.
