Description

In AI for Research and Data Analysis, you’ll cover how to use AI to turn an unfamiliar data in a messy spreadsheet into insights you can use to make decisions with. No prior AI experience is required.

You’ll start by learning what AI does well — and where it falls short. You’ll learn how to write clear prompts using a structured framework and how to check AI outputs for accuracy and bias instead of simply accepting the results. You’ll learn how to use AI to sharpen your strategy, boost your creativity, and streamline the repetitive parts of your day.

From there, you’ll use Gemini Deep Research to bring information from dozens of sources into one report. You’ll build a Gemini Notebook hub that summarizes PDFs, videos, and articles in one place. You’ll also create a custom AI persona to test your ideas and find possible weaknesses before moving forward.

Finally, you’ll work with data. You’ll identify the right metrics for a project, organize messy information into a useful format, and use plain language to create spreadsheet formulas and data visualizations.

Each course is built by Google’s team and includes hands-on activities in Gemini, Gemini Notebook, and Google Sheets—so you can practice with the same tools you can use on the job.
