What’s up, Goldwriters - and welcome to my Goldwriter PRO online lyric and songwriting tutorial!
My name is Alexander Star and I’m a recording artist, TV personality, and Emmy nominated songwriter.
You have a passion for music and you want to write songs - but not just any songs...
You've got valuable ideas, and I created Goldwriter PRO to help you turn them into valuable songs that people want to hear.
You ready? Let's go!!
This chapter gives you a quick summary of some of the key elements of songwriting and lyric crafting that I'll be teaching you through Goldwriter PRO.
Here's a nugget to remember: Above all, becoming a great songwriter requires you to find your personal voice and develop the right habits to make music that truly matters to you. Once it matters to you, it'll matter to someone else.
One of the most important things to have a grasp on in any action you take in life is the intention.
In this chapter, I want to help frame out your perspective on why you desire to write music.
What's your ambition for doing so?
Who do you want to address, and what impact do you want your writing to make?
Take good notes to mine valuable ideas from each lesson and store them in your treasure bags for later, turning solid gold songwriting knowledge into jewelry and gold bars.
Every Goldwriter should always keep a few key tools at hand when on their songwriting journey because you can discover 'gold' (something valuable to write about) anywhere, at any time.
When you find it, you want to be ready to mine it and put it somewhere safe right away, because sometimes great ideas escape us if we don't grab them in time!
