I think before jumping into Cybersecurity and everything it entails, we need to know WHY we need Cybersecurity. What is the essence and why was it put in place?

8. Types of Attack Vectors and Cyber Attacks
9. A deeper Understanding of Internal and External Threats
Data Protection & Privacy is another important domain or topic we need to understand in Cybersecurity.
This Lecture looks into things that can help us protect our data and maintain privacy.
We look at;
1. Data & Information - Data classification
2. Public Wifi and its risks
3. Password security and a means for privacy
4. Challenges faced in Data Privacy
5. Technologies that ensure data privacy
We would be looking at the CIA Triad which is the fundamental of security.

Non African's can also take a cue.
I answered frequently asked questions like:
1. Must i know how to code or program
2. Must i get the popular industry certifications before i can be employable
3. Where can i get additional resources to assist my growth and knowledge
4. Is Cybersecurity Lucrative (My answer here was shocking)

7. What type of Job can i get if i decide i am ready to start working in the field of Cybersecurity
8. Lots of other questions were answered
9. The right Cybersecurity Pathway every beginner should follow to avoid getting frustrated in Cybersecurity
10. YOUR NEXT STEP AFTER THIS COURSE
By the end of this lecture, you will no longer be confused as a beginner.
This Course was put together by an African who struggled when getting started in Cybersecurity due to the lack of sufficient information and direction on getting started. You will learn all the basics of what Cybersecurity entails and also know how to get started in the field/career path.
If you are someone who doesn't have any computer science background or IT related background, you would most find this beginner course in cybersecurity very useful because of the way it was explained.
There are five different lectures and they are quite easy to follow. From the first to the fourth lecture, we looked at basic concepts in cybersecurity while the last one discussed navigating the career path and the right way to get started in a fairly new, popular and growing field such as cybersecurity.
I believe that anyone who decides to enrol for this course would appreciate the information shared here provided you are dedicated to learning.
This course could be taken by anyone in any country, i only shared my experience as a Nigerian that studied with lots of resources abroad from the US,UK and few of those resources were definitely helpful understanding the cybersecurity concepts but might not be enough to survive and beat the frustration that sets out for every beginner in Africa. Hence the reason i created this course.
