Money Beliefs Worksheet
Your beliefs matter.
Identifying your positive and negative money beliefs will clarify why you make the decisions you make. Looking at your current money beliefs is an essential part of your overall financial well-being.
It is important to have awareness of the thoughts you have about money and your beliefs about what is possible for you in your financial life.
Our money beliefs impact the behavior we have with money, and in order to become financially successful, your beliefs must support positive financial behaviors.
In our one-on-one and group coaching, we teach clients a three-step process toward achieving true financial success and it begins with a strong financial SYSTEM. This system allows you to develop strong money BEHAVIORS and as a result of consistently making smart financial choices, you naturally develop a strong money MINDSET!
That being said, it is also important to have an awareness of your money mindset, so you can either support or challenge those thoughts when they arise.
Our goal is to reinforce those positive beliefs and get the negative ones out of your mind and your life! We are all programmed with certain beliefs from the things we have heard, seen, and experienced in our lives and all of us have our own unique money story.
Download the exercise below to identify and work through your positive and negative money beliefs.

Ways to Lower Utility Bills
Every single suggestion below may work for you based on your starting point.
For example, if you're trying to lower your electricity bill and you read "use your dryer less frequently," but you don't use your dryer at all, it's not going to help. If you do small loads of laundry every day, it absolutely will help!
Please read through the lists and decide for yourself what will work for you.
BONUS: Glenda's Housing Change
We're back to Glenda in NYC. We've been following her debt-free journey as she makes changes to her life. She's now 3 months in and just made a HUGE change: she found a roommate for the second bedroom in East Harlem!
All names are changed to protect our clients' privacy.
Glenda Glitters came to financial coaching making $85,513 per year while carrying $35,512 in credit card debt, $47,556 in student loan debt, and $11,398 left on a personal consolidation loan. She lived in an NYC apartment that she rented by herself... but that's about to change.
Glenda's been looking at her budget over and over. Her biggest expense is housing, which means that it's also her biggest opportunity for change. We talked through finding a studio apartment or renting a room in a house... but she wanted more control over deciding who she lived with.
If she could find a roommate, she'd be able to shave off 2 years and 3 months from her debt-free date. That was worth it to her.
Download the PDF below to see her budget for yourself.
BONUS: Clothing Sales and Deals by Month
The guidelines below are generally when you can find sales and deals on different types of clothing. This will not always work, but it's a good place to start.

Steps to this lesson:

Decide whether you need an extra income or not.
If you'd like to bring in an extra income, then decide between a side job or a side hustle.
