Sharing your story helps you make sense of your life — why certain events happened the way they did. You can examine what has happened to and through you. You can then make sense of who you are and articulate it in your story.
Telling your story leads to greater confidence and understanding of yourself. Once you have analysed and written your story, it needs to be shared to create a connection with your customers and audience. Customers like to know that you have experienced and overcome the same challenges as them.

Create a Customer Avatar
A customer avatar is a detailed profile of your ideal customer. It doesn't make assumptions or categorise people into groups.
A customer avatar focuses on one type of person and outlines all their characteristics. It includes details of what your perfect customer looks and sounds like. This assists with your marketing and lead generation strategies to attract the right people to your business.
You've likely heard the phrase, "You can't hit a target you haven't set" the same applies to create a clearly defined Customer Avatar. Before you can sell anything effectively, you need to understand.
WHO is your ideal customer?
WHERE are they hanging out online?
WHAT are their challenges?
A clearly defined Customer Avatar will help you:
Determine the social platforms they utilise so you know where your business should be present and active.
Become more effective in your advertising. When you spend money or use your time to promote yourself, you will identify the locations to advertise and who to target to maximise your exposure.
You will improve your connection with your Customer Avatar with the right advertising as you have an understanding of their pains, pleasures, desires and wants.
You will develop improved products/services as you anticipate your market’s needs, behaviours, and concerns.
Use laws of attraction to send an energetic message of the type of customers you can help.
1. Benefits of your services:
Benefits are the reasons customers buy your product or service. Identifying the features communicates to your customers "what's in it for them”. Features are only valuable if customers view those particular features as valuable. You want products or services with features that customers perceive as valuable benefits and targets their pain points.
2. Focusing on service/product benefits allows you to increase your fees.
Offering benefits rather than features makes it easier to charge higher prices. When you differentiate your services/products by featuring what your customer receives gives you an advantage.
This can justify paying a higher price than generic products/services. For example, many products command a higher price just because they are known brands. They may have the same features, but by emphasising intangible/unique benefits, consumers will pay a premium.
3. Focusing on product benefits allows differentiation.
If you focus on the benefits of a product rather than its features, it will make product/services differentiation easier. The features may be the same, but you can achieve a high degree of differentiation when you emphasise the benefits.
For example, two cars may have the same specifications, but by focusing on the safety and large cargo space, an automobile company can more easily sell their car to a family audience.
By focusing on speed, the car then becomes more attractive to a younger audience. By emphasising product benefits, you quickly create a dynamic marketing strategy to make your products different from your competitors.
4. Product benefits makes consumer purchase decisions easier.
Because of the large amount of the overload of information to purchase a product or service, consumers use mental shortcuts called heuristics to simplify the process.
By focusing on product benefits, the decision to purchase a particular service/product is made much easier for the customer, lessening their possible confusion and creating a clearer case for why your service/product should be bought. This helps decrease consumer information overload.
A company's image is one of the most important assets of an organisation. It acts as a comfort factor for customers and assures them that they are buying from the best. Moreover, it influences attitudes of not only customers but also employees, media, analysts, influencers etc. towards an organisation or their services. It shows that you are serious about what you do or offer.
Invest in professional photography or graphics if you can
Using personalised photography or using professional graphics presents you with the opportunity to gain an advantage over your competitors.
Clear and creative photo designs demonstrate the credibility of your company and will result in customers trusting your brand as authentic and one they want to support.
Your social media presence, website, and other marketing material is the first impression a potential client has of you and your company.
The photos you use on your marketing materials represent your business just as much as your staff or the products and services. Low quality, amateurish photos reflect poorly on a business.
Take time to create a great image
After all, if you’re skimping on the photography, what else are you potentially skimping on? Anyone with a passing interest in marketing will tell you that content is king. With the rise of digital marketing, visual languages have become the primary means of communication between businesses and customers, and your business is no different
People will share graphics if it is catchy
The benefits of an engaged social media community that shares likes and retweets your content are impossible to overstate. Displaying professionally taken photos alongside your social posts makes them far more likely to be engaged by your desired audiences, growing your brand and reaching more potential customers organically.
Module 7: Attract More Customers
It’s been proven that the more positive contact you have with your customers and prospects, the easier it is to develop and sustain relationships and ultimately, close more sales. Unfortunately, you’re one of the thousands who are vying for your customers’ attention.
The rule of seven
The marketing rule of sales is that a prospect needs to “hear” the advertiser’s message at least seven times before they’ll take action to buy that product or service.
This is because it takes time for people to get to know you, remember your name, your offer, and message. Once they know you, they need time to get to like you and your business.
Over time, they’ll eventually trust you. Once you build confidence with your potential customers that you provide real value, then they are ready to buy from you. Without a clearly-defined marketing strategy to map out how you’ll connect with your prospect seven times, your odds of success diminish.
There is a lot of noise in advertising and marketing strategies, so you need to be good at what you do. To get ahead of the noise, make sure whatever strategy you used, be mindful of putting out good content that leaves a lasting impression.
Once you have scripted your ideal customer avatar, you can identify the best options to reach them.
Module 8: Communication
Email Lists: Maintain customer details
It is important to retain records of all your potential and existing customers to update them on your specials and services. Create lists in Gmail or mail chimp as they have free email list options.
Mailchimp is an all-in-one marketing platform that helps you manage communication with your customers. It assists with marketing or email campaigns and data analysis.
Module 9: Universal Help
This final module is the most important module as it addresses the energy behind your manifestations and creations. You must never underestimate this concept as it can make or break you, just like people can help or hinder.
Your beliefs, emotions, intentions, and attitudes will override your physical work if you are not aligned with your goals and desires.
Setting a goal or taking action is not enough to create success. Your energy must be aligned with source energy. When you get universal help then you will be guided on the right decisions and paths to take.
