Description
Have you tried to sign up on Upwork, but they rejected you? Maybe you haven't tried because you're afraid you won't get in. Well, I can't guarantee you'll get approved even once you take this course. But what I can do is show you the exact steps I use to get profiles approved. It's not guaranteed, but it works really well and it hasn't failed me yet.
Over the past few years, Upwork made it super hard to get approved on their platform. They increased the requirements and updated their standards. They did this to keep bad freelancers out and filter good freelancers in. But sometimes Upwork's algorithms make mistakes and even good freelancers don't get approved.
To get approved on Upwork you have to prove you're the right kind of person. But how do you do that? What does Upwork even want from you? Don't guess, because if you get it wrong you'll get rejected like thousands of people do every single day. Instead, take this course before you apply and follow my guidance closely.
Inside this course is a step-by-step live recorded walkthrough so you get to see exactly what I write, how I structure it, and my entire strategy and approach to set up a brand new Upwork account that gets approved in seconds on the first try.
Here's what you'll get inside this course:
Learn why Upwork updated their standards and cracked down on applicants
Discover exactly what Upwork wants from you and your profile at sign up
Learn the strategy, approach and thought process I use to get new Upwork accounts approved
Get a step-by-step live recorded walkthrough as I set up a brand new Upwork account
Avoid instant-reject mistakes that cause your profile to get turned down again and again
If you struggle to get approved on Upwork, then this course is for you. If you're worried that you'll try to sign up and get turned away, then this course is for you.
Again, I can't guarantee my approach will get you approved. But I can show you it, and I can give you examples and resources to help you craft your own Upwork-friendly profile to give yourself the absolute best chance possible to get approved even if you've been rejected before.
If that's what you need, scroll up and enroll now!
See you on the inside!

Instructor
Hi there, I'm Lex DeVille, Freelance Copywriter of eight years. Freelance Instructor for six. I hold Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Psychology and I'm a Ph.D. student in Psychology. I'm certified as an NLP Master Practitioner and Ericksonian Hypnotherapist.
Most of my courses share insights from my personal journey to help you succeed as a freelancer on Upwork or beyond. Some of my courses cover freelance writing and other useful topics. On Udemy, I have a combined 200+ pages of 5-star reviews so you can enroll with confidence.
My Journey
When I started on Odesk (AKA Upwork) in 2014, I recognized a gap in the market. As a client, I experienced how terrible most freelancers are at expressing their value. I figured I'd excel at freelancing if I just focused on clients and how I'd solve their problems. As a result, I generated over $300 in my first week, secured multiple paying clients at over $100 per hour in my first month, and built my first six-figure business all without experience or training in my skill and without a college degree.
In 2017, I deleted my Upwork account to start over from scratch to prove that my methods still work. Without setting up a profile, I applied to gigs and landed my first client in one day. That client was a business that got a deal on Shark Tank. From there, I used my approaches to build a second full-time income in one month and expanded out into another six-figure business. I documented all of this through my YouTube channel which has nearly 13,000 subscribers.
Today, my Upwork profile ranks in the #1 position across numerous search terms worldwide, and Upwork recently featured me as 1 of 7 out of MILLIONS for freelancers to learn from.
My primary skill is copywriting, and I work almost exclusively with international brands, successful SaaS companies, high-ticket influencers, celebrities, and direct-response agencies.
Do I Still Freelance Today?
Yes. I continue to freelance as a primary income. This ensures my training is always relevant and allows me to offer courses at low prices through Udemy.
What About Student Outcomes?
I've trained over 14,000 students. Many earn full-time incomes as freelancers. Some reported smashing through the six-figure window. While I can't guarantee any specific outcome for you, when you properly apply my training, your chances of success skyrocket.
That said, freelancing is a business. You have to treat it like a business to be successful. All businesses require hard work and a committed effort. Most businesses fail. Yours doesn't have to, but you'll need practice, patience, and persistence to succeed. Depending on where you start, it may take you more time or less time to achieve success than others.
A Note on Excuses
I have no patience for excuses. I'm a single dad with full custody of a 4-year-old who takes piano lessons, attends Ph.D. courses full-time, creates freelance videos on the side, coaches freelancers 1 on 1, and does all of this WHILE generating a full-time income as a high-performance copywriter. Whatever excuses you have for why you can't start and succeed, I call bullsh*t.
In my courses, you get step-by-step proven processes. When I started, I had to figure it out on my own. I had no course or instructor, didn't have experience in my skill, and no college degrees. I earned all of that after I started. Just get started. Help people. Use the resources available to you. Once you're successful, remember to share your story with us!
All right, that's it for now. See you inside!
